Leaving Teshikaga with a heavy heart cos' i don't know where and when i will be getting free WiFi again.Anyway journey had to be continued after my last 30 minutes of internet browsing. Rolled out at 9 and the climb immediately started and lasted for 30 km of absolutely nothing but climbing, climbing and climbing across the Akan National Park on route 241. The descent is not equal to the ascent in term of distance, where it reaches a junction and merging with route 240, a right turn of another 5 km to Akanko (Lake), Stopping at the 7-11 to stock up some supply especially the 7-11 peanut chocolates that is not selling in Selcomart or Lawson, but only in 7-11. Done some visiting around the lakeside town where the only Japanese tribe of Ainu settled here, they are famous for their wood handcrafting skill as many shops are selling the products. There is also a sightseeing boat cater for the tourist to view the beauty of the Akan Lake. Finding a place to camp was a bit of problem after the campsite manager told me its close and you can't camp here. Feeling disappointed as this is the first time i was refused. After another 30 min looking around, finally i am landed in a Japanese shrine and set up my tent on a roofed wooden platform, there was a lady sweeper but seems did not mind my presence. So at the end still not a bad day after all.
