What a lucky day as i met two gentlemen that they recognized me before on the road. First gentleman is Yamada san aged 73 yrs, still looking very fit and strong,he was looking for me after informed by his French wife Fuki when i was trying to book a return Airasia flight ticket home from Tokyo Haneda Airport to Lcct, and had problem as i couldn't receive the security code thru' my phone from Maybank. Yamada san was kind to charge under his card and in return i paid him the fare in cash ( 26300 yen ). Now i have one worry less and i will be home in Nov 27th. Soon after everything done, Yamada san and wife invited me to join them for breakfast in their camper van, where there is a fresh underground water outlet,i took the opportunity to fill up my bottles. We chatted for sometime until 11.30 am before i continued my journey to Mashuko ( Mashu Lake) on route 52. It involves a steady climb of 10 km to an elevation of 740 m where the Mashu Lake is situated below a lookout point. Then it descent to another attraction of Mt Iozan ( Sulfur Hill) just to have a look at the yellowish sulfur bubbling up from underground from close range with a strong smell of sulfur. At Kawayu, i met again the same gentleman who offer me an ice-cream on top of the Seki Pass before, and this time he bought me an energy drink and a bottle of coke. it was already 3.30 pm and time to look out for place to camp,I saw there is a foot Spa where some locals gathered, and there is a small little shelter to set my tent on.
