Very good ride today, the weather was sunny with blue sky.Quite early into the ride, one local cyclist recommended " Why don't you cycle on the bike path instead of main road? I replied" I am from Malaysia,i don't know" He then said" ok you follow me" a bit worried that the bike road might lead me to somewhere " Where is the bike path going to? " just to confirm , then he asked " Where you going?" Sounkyo" i replied, " okok come follow me " These were the conversation that leads me to this beautiful bike path all the way about 38 km before it ended at Aizan, where it temporary join back the main national route of 40 and 273. While on the bike path, i saw many road bikes pilling this bike path, and at one of the rest area, i met a group which we chatted and took pictures, i stock up my supply at Aibetsu before i continued to ride cos' on bike path, there is no shop to buy anything. I am gaining now in altitude as i am heading towards the mountain, and along the way i can see lots of autumn leafs start turning in yellow and red colour, the scenery is so beautiful. From the map, there is a camping ground near Sounkyo,so i am targeting to reach there just about the right time for me to camp, when i arrived there, it was a pity that there is no one there to manage with all the chalets being lock and no water supply, anyway i still find a roof designed for bbq to set up my tent.
