The highlight for today's ride is having my first glimpse of the snow capped Mt Fuji standing majestically at 3778 m. It wasn't easy as you need to climb to almost 1000m on route 20 and 139 with very narrow winding road,fighting for space with lots of traffic.But once i arrived at the beautiful Kawaguchiko Lake, all the hard work pays off. And also there is a nice shade for spending a night. Kawaguchiko is one of the five lakes surrounding Mt Fuji,a tourist attraction,i will be seeing Mt Fuji for the next 2 days,i guess. Expenses for today a little higher,as i had my lunch in Sukiya for 2 sets of meals, quite cheap only 760 yen.Good recommendation from Chan's wife Yamamoto.
