Glad today i made it to Onuma Lake Camping ground before dark at 4.20 pm and its free, unlike yesterday which charges 500 yen. At one time i wanted to give up and just put up at one of the parking lot as the gloomy sky threatening of rain any moment, but when i noticed the signage to Onuma Lake is only 8 km ,so i step up on high gear to beat the rain. On arriving the campsite,i saw two other tents on the outside grass,but did not see anyone around. The local like to set their tents on the open. I still don't understand why,with the cold weather especially at night and early morning,the temperature can drop drastically,and your tent gets wet if it rain. For me,definitely find a roof and feel more warmth and dry.
