What a miserable wet ride today! What looks like a cloudy morning ride suddenly the rain started pouring after only 5 km into the ride,i had to take shelter at the little cover for nearly 2 hours, then the rain slow down a little bit for me to start riding again,then it started heavy again and that repeated several times. Since already wet might as well continue to ride and that really got the hell of me,feeling very cold. When i saw many bus stops along the way,how i wish to just stop there and put up a night, but i need to buy some foods first before i can do that,so the misery continues,and finally just before reaching the town center of Kashiwazaki,7-11 came to the rescue again. But the rain continues to hold me up for another 2 hours or so, so much so the 7-11 staff saw me and very kind to give me some big plastic cover to keep warm. With all the necessities taken care of, i started to brave the rain to look for a night stay,surprisingly i couldn't find any bus stops along the road. So the next best is to look for park, where i saw a field with a cover stage in the middle, after setting up the tent,i quickly changed my wet clothing. Happy to end a horrible and miserable day so to say.
