After a good 2 night home stay with Chan's family in Ueda, time to move on again. Chan's wife Yamamoto prepared some rice dumplings for me to eat on the road, and thanks Chan for some good quality warm clothing given to me.I am so grateful and out of words to express my highest thankfulness for taking good care of me. Hope to have the chance to repay when they do visit Subang Jaya one day. The weather this morning as predicted cloudy as i gradually climbed up to the highest peak in Kairuzawa of 1003 m before i turned into a small narrow route 43 of all the way down to meet up with another national route 254. The scenery was great with lots of autumn leafs and the view of tall overhead highway bridge. The downhill was steep and chilling,as i forced to control my braking with several stops to cool down the disc brakes. The road became more manageable once into route 254 parallel to a river by the side. Saw three roadies and chatted for a little while, they are heading to Saitama about 80 km away, but i told them to go ahead as i won't be going there on the same day,may be tomorrow. By 3.30 pm i stopped at the road station in Shimonita to call it a day.
