The weather for the past few days had been good and dry,and this had somewhat motivated my spirit of continue pedaling, but since crossing from Hokkaido to the main land Honshu, the prices of my daily foods are very expensive, some even double the prices. The free camping grounds are not easy to find anymore. Today's ride a continuation of yesterday's climb to Mt Hakkoda, and it began to tapper down to a roller coaster f the Oirase Gorge where lots of tour buses with many locals enjoying and taking photos of the Oirase Gorge with many waterfall. Then the 102 road reaches a junction where the Towada Lake is situated. Visited the famous bronze double maiden statue in Yasumiya Lakeside and happened to meet a couple from Penang when they saw my Malaysian flag, we chatted for a while before i decided to set tent at the beach with a roof hut, need to cut down my budget a little.
