Another day of uneventful riding on a rather flat straight route 39 . On both side of the road saw wide areas of onion farming. Kitami is a big town that i rode thru' with very long straight road,mainly of automobile outlets of selling cars. the traffics is rather heavy towards a big coastal city of Abashiri. In Memanbetsu,a town by the side of Abashiri Lake has a camping ground, but is rather too early for me to camp at 12.30 pm. So ,after getting my supply in Selcomart,i proceed further to another lake camp ground where i saw a few tents already up near the lake, but was a bit disappointed of no water supply. I used the lake water to boil and wipe clean my body,and the very limited drinking water for cooking.
