Today was not a good day for me in term of weather is concerned. The sky was not only gloomy with threatening rain, couples with strong headwind, have somewhat affected my mood of riding, with the worry of rain and no way to take a shelter,as this stretch of coastline is very remote. The only highlight is the Soyamisaki Cape which is the most Northern tip of Japan. The next town Hamatonbetsu is another 30 km, i might very well reserve that for tomorrow. I was stopping by 3 pm at the first road station after almost 70 km of hard pedaling in chilling wind and happy to find a covered space to sleep at the entrance of an underground subway in a park seems to be nobody is using it. Tomorrow there is a 50% chance of raining from the information of the road station, I will leave that for tomorrow.
