Started to roll at 8.30 am a bit late than normally at 7 or 7.30 , trying to avoid the long Ginga Tunnel about 5 km by using another side road, but have to turn back as the road is closed, my mistake not to check it out yesterday, fortunately there is a side path of 4 feet in the tunnel separating from the speeding traffics, this was by far the longest tunnel i have ever ride thru' with a bike, scary though but feel safe. After the end of this long tunnel, i stop by an historic site of Abako where there was an old tunnel built many years ago and also the Abako gorge formed by the eruption of volcano. I am gaining in altitude slowly as the climb is very gradual in this remote countryside where there is almost nothing for you to stop, however there is a small stall on top of the climb called Sekihuko Toge or Sekihuko Pass at 1050 m. I was offer a cup of ice cream from a gentlemen. The long descent about 30 km begins here to a small town where i stop at the 7 -11 shop for some supply. With 62 km clocked and the time is 2.30 pm, the weather is so warm with hardly any cloud in the sky, so i decided to look for the camping ground indicated on the map, which is about 8 km from here. When i reached there, the camping sign shown closed for today, but the worker kindly allowed me in, this is a golf park with camping facilities. I selected the roofed toilet as the space is much better than the actual camp ground, it was really very very cold at night and early morning, that's the reason for staying inside the walls than open outside.
