Today Distance :3.0 km Total: 410.6 km
Today weather : 22-28c Raining all day
Today spend : 31800 Won Total : 123900 Won
What an eventful day full of happenings. What we had planned yesterday for today all turn out to totally unexpected. Uljin still remains a mystery town which we had been talking for the past few days. Our plan is to ride to Uljin today which is about 55 km away. As we were packing up, heavy rain started and we had to ride out in the rain in order not to stuck there without any shelter, at the same time we sent massage to the other 5 who stayed in the hotel to meet up at the junction under the flyover,we could't proceed as the rain don't seem to be stopping any sooner, so we started looking into the possibility of taking a train nearby instead of riding to Uljin, which don't seem to have a train service to Busan on the satellite map, The google map of Korea don't seem to have much information either, so the next choice is to ride back to the town for help. The hotel owner came to our rescue as he told us there is one train station in Hyeondong, only 2 km and volunteer to drive with Peter with his car. At the same time, Danny received a sad news that his mother had just passed away due to old age, so he has to make an emergency arrangement to fly back from Busan on Airasia. Ha[f an hour later, Peter came back with a good news that there is a train to Bujeon, a town in the city of Busan is leaving at 4pm, but the train master have to look at how we packed up our bikes before selling the tickets to us, and told us to come back by 1pm. We took our lunch at the restaurant and another round of coffee before we rode to the train station. Annie dismantle her bike and pack into the beg as a sample to let the train master see, and what a relief, we quickly started to dismantle from the word OK, and I took about 1 hour 10 min to pack up my recumbent as others had long finish packing. The train took 5.5 hr and cost 18600 Won and we have to assembled our bikes again at the Bujeon station at 9.30pm, cycled to look for a night stay in a motel nearby for 12500 Won each, and we had to rush out for late dinner almost 12 midnight. The dinner was really good, and this time thanks to Gerard as he volunteer to foot the bill. We returned to hotel after dinner to bathe and what a day to remember as we laid down on a comfortable bed .
