Bentonkoreajapan: Day 01 Fri 6/9 - Kuala Lumpur Lcct to Incheon

The weather was good in the very early morning, as i had to leave for the Lcct airport, again thank you so much to my best friend Foo. My Airasia flight is scheduled to take off at 8am. The check in was smooth and fast. I then met up with another 5 ride partners: Ivan and wife Ainie, Nabil and the organizer Yong at the boarding room. Another 4 partners Peter,Danny,Gerarald and Simon already left earlier. The 6 hours 20 mins flight was smooth and touched down at Incheon at 3.30pm, Korea time is 1 hr ahead of Malaysia. No problem for 6 of us to clear the immigration as we were sent off to the SP Guesthouse in Itaewan by 2 vans courtesy from the Korean Toursm Organisation (KTO). At the guesthouse we then met up with the rest,and later after a quick shower, all ten of us were enjoying our dinner in Meatpacking Italiano Restauran, again on the courtesy from the Executive Director of KTO Mr Park Byoung Jik and Tony Jong, Hans River Rider Club, Mr Tim,and our city tour guide Miss Jane, we were presented a welcoming banner and also the Hans River Cycling Path in 3 different routes. I on behalf of the group, would like to thanks them for all the wonderful hospitality extended to us. We will definitely tell our fellow cyclists back home in Malaysia about the friendly people of Korea. We had to assemble our bikes late at night cos' tomorrow city tour will be one full hectic day according to our tour guide Miss Jane.
