Another night of good sleep in the no-water hotel, the reason to name this hotel is b'cos we had no water supply in the morning,most probably the water in the roof tank had been used up yesterday by 10 of us. I had my breakfast from yesterday leftover rice and tuna. We had a group photo before we rolled out at 8 am.The target for today is supposed to be an easy short ride of 50 km with a detour to the Chungju Dam for passport stamping and then to stay in Suanbo for hot spring bath. The climb to the Chungju Dam was long and steep,but everyone make it without having to dismount and push. There is a convenient stall where we had a quick snacks and cold drinks. We met a Korean riding with a motorized trike Mr Choi il boo, who is very keen to take photos with us, and also volunteer to lead us to Suanbo. We went into park having some kind of carnival to promote Chungju. Mr Choi left us knowing that we were on the correct direction to Suanbo. While we were on our own, we passed by some orchard where we pick up some free apples. We arrived in Suanbo town about 1.30pm and got some information from the Tourist Information Center, to stay in the Shineungjung hotel with hot spring bath for 12500 Won per head.After settlement of the hotel, we proceed to have our late lunch in one of the restaurant and all 5 of us ordered the same dish of Bibimbap of 8000 Won per head.
