The briefing yesterday was to start early by 7.30 am today, but eventually it was not happening, and some were still in bed by 6. We haven't have a rest day since started riding from Itaewon,Seoul. Simon had a slight fever and feeling better after taken Activefast panadol, Ivan was down with diarrhea. But still we managed to push off at 8.10 am. From the GPS, there will be a series of climbs over 700 m. For me, so far had been good both in physical and my recumbent is free from any troubles, hopefully these will stay till end of my tour that including Japan. The early pace was fast with Yong mostly in front to lead from his GPS, the first town to target is Chunyang which is about 52 km away, the first climb of 540 m was not much of a problem as all make it to the top in good time , after a  short downhill , then came the 2nd  climb of 740 m where my average speed was down to 3.5 kmh. The group really struggle to reach the top except Ivan who still having stomach trouble, luckily for him to get a lift from a local pick up van to fetch him at least over the hills.By almost 2pm, we arrived in Chunyang, feeling hungry and tire, we rested at the CU convenient store for lunch and drinks, and at the same time planning our next course of action. We continued to push on to the next town of Socheon about 20 km where we hope to find a campsite or some who may prefer to stay hotel. The ride to Socheon was really fast as the sky is threatening to rain. By 4 we arrived in Socheon, we try  to find camping at the Church and school with no success, smart Danny volunteer to ask the police in his brand new patrol car, and the policeman,in his 50s was very helpful, not even he drawn a map to show us the campsite, but also leads us there. Unfortunately half of the group already decided to stay in the hotel, while the more adventurous 5 opted to camp. It was really fun following a police patrol car not to the police station but to a campsite, it was about 2 km from the town, crossing a cement bridge to the river side. We have a very cold dip in the river before we cooked our dinner, to call it a day.
